I loved spending time with this family after their sweet baby girl was born, and I was super excited to come back to take a few portraits focusing on her big brother! He has recently turned two and is full of energy and everything else that comes along with being two :). I especially enjoy spending time with this sweet family because their little ones are practically exactly the same age apart as my little ones! We had a wonderful morning walking around their neighborhood and even got to spend some time at their neighborhood park. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I hope we see each other again soon!

Mine on Mondays. Spring Hill, TN Lifestyle Portrait Photographer.
I have seen on a couple of other photography blogs that I follow, this fun idea where every Monday you post about your own little ones. I love this idea, and since I am like every other mom out there who takes a bagillion pictures of her kiddos and then leaves them on the computer and never does anything else with them, this will force me to actually have some of them printed! So here in the first installment of "Mine on Mondays". I hope you enjoy!
Saturday mornings are pretty low key around here with the arrival of our sweet Ella. By the time we have breakfast, its time for our 5 month old to go down for her morning nap. Needless to say, Brody must play inside during these cold winter months and usually he can be found crawling around on the kitchen floor with his trucks. Sometimes it's his police car truck, sometimes it's his fire engine truck, but usually it's his "daddy's truck"...

Three. Thompsons Station, TN Family Portrait Photography.
Her curiosity quickly pushes her shyness aside.
Her daddy is her best friend.
Her outgoing spirit is immediately detectable.
This is not one little girl I am speaking of, but instead three little beauties who are three years old. Triplets! Can you imagine? I spent a cold, slightly snowy morning with these angels the day after their 3rd birthday party playing and chasing and capturing these photographs! We played with scooters, paper dolls, Candyland, and even tricycles!
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I can't wait for you to see the rest of your gallery!

Priorities. Durham, NC Portrait Photographer.
We all prioritize, but this gorgeous couple have made a fine art out of prioritizing. Between classes, law school, AND full time jobs, they still manage to make each other a priority. I have no idea how they do it...but gosh its amazing to see in person. We spent a brief 'much-too-early' morning together for this mini-session, but I hope they think it was worth it! Be sure and check out his shoes--a sweet pair of Reebok Pumps! How cool do you have to be to pull off this old school fav? I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! Can't wait for you to see the rest!

Toddlerhood! Raleigh, NC Family Portrait Photographer.
Parenting a toddler is certainly an experience that I sometimes think only other parents of toddlers can relate to. Energy for days, surprises everywhere...play hard, sleep hard! Brody certainly is no exception to this and goes nonstop every day from sun-up to sun-down, and often well past sun down! Well, this adorable little guy makes Brody seem down right lethargic! He is a very special pal of Brody's (you may remember his amazing blue eyes from my very first post on my blog) and I had the best time with him and his parents while photographing them in downtown Raleigh. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and we can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Baby Brother. Apex, NC Portrait Photography.
This post is not so much about a baby, as it is about a brother. My baby brother....one of them, anyway. My biggest baby brother. He has lived quite a life these past 29 years, lots of ups, lots of downs (lets face it....it was kind of touch a go there for a while!), and lots and lots of memories. My most favorite memories of childhood involve him saying something mean to me, me punching him and him not being allowed to hit me back (sometimes you gotta love being a girl!). I bet if you asked him, his fondest memories have surely involved me--his mother-hen of a big sister(hey...he will always be my little brother!). Well...as much as i would like to think his fondest memories involve me, I know better...those belong to his amazing wife. I have no idea how or what he did to convince this gorgeous woman (seriously, I could do three or four posts on just her!) to marry him, but he must be the luckiest guy I know! My most favorite part about these images is that you can clearly see how he knows exactly how lucky he is! Every one of these photos makes my heart melt, makes me smile the biggest smile I have, and even cry because they make me so happy! I loved spending an afternoon photographing them and their pups. I love you both, I can't wait to do it again and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
