Frigid Fun! Apex, NC Family Photographer.

Anyone else wish that Spring would go ahead and come and just stay? This perfectly awesome big guy certainly did this past Saturday! I met up with him and his mom for an early morning session(at what is becoming my favorite place to shoot), and while the sun was shining, it was awfully frigid in the shade. He was a trooper though, was happy to run (and hop) to stay warm, and I had a wonderful time capturing these images for his mom (AND for his super duper proud grandparents and aunt!). I have had such a hard time choosing my favorites to preview, that I am pretty sure I will be writing another post on this handsome fella in a couple of weeks! Growing Girl! Nashville, TN Baby Photography.

You may remember this sweet little beauty from her newborn session back in November. She is now 4 months, but last month we got together for her three month shoot. It was exciting to see that she has grown and changed so much! We had a lot of fun with tutus and hair bows (she always has the best bows!) and I can't wait to see her again in just a couple of months when she is six months old! This handsome fella was not quite two months old when we met up and he was about as adorable as they come! Sweet, easy going, and didn't mind my gigantic camera in his face in the least! His blue eyes...perfection! I am not sure how his mama does it--classes, work, AND taking care of this amazing little boy. When it comes to adorable newphews, none are cuter than mine. He is nearly a year old and we are headed down to the ATL soon for his one year birthday shoot, but I could not resist getting in a few shots with him when he and his parents (my brother and sister-in-aw) were in town nearly a month ago. Here are a few we captured that evening as the sun was quickly fading and I cannot wait for his parents to make their debut on my blog when he turns 1! I hope you like these! Mine on Mondays. Franklin, TN Portrait Photography

I thought I would post a snapshot from my trip to San Diego with my kiddos and my Nana, but while editing two client sessions, I came across this gem of my husband Jim. We found a fantastic deli in downtown Franklin the other week that we had never eaten at before, and between my back to back sessions, we stopped in for lunch. The menu was amazing and the lighting was spectacular, so I couldn't resist a few shots of my sweet little family. Hubs is not always thrilled to be in front of the camera, so I am thrilled to have captured this snapshot of him. He does not typically sport any facial hair, but has injured his shoulder at work and had surgery just last week, so we have a few more months before he is clean shaven again :).

Having quite a few siblings myself, I love being able to photograph big families! The fun and newness of a new baby at home is so easy to capture! I spent a very cold, but sunny morning with this adorable family at the home. With a little help from great-grandma, parents who have fallen in love with their newest addition as though he was the very first, a very entertaining big brother, and a sweet as pie big sister, this little guy is going to a full life! Well it has been quite a while since I have posted! Between my computer crashing, spending a week in sorta sunny/mostly rainy San Diego, and hubby's shoulder surgery, I am terribly behind on my updates!

Over the next week I promise a sweet new baby boy with the silliest big brother and adorable big sister, a gorgeous 3 month old, a couple "Mine on Mondays", and a couple more surprises :).
