Mine on Monday-1st day! Franklin, TN Family Photographer

A few months ago, we decided to start looking for a new daycare for Brody.  We LOVED the one he was at, but we did not need something 5 days/per week from 6am-6pm.  Most Mothers Day Out programs required him to either be 3 and potty trained by September 1st...and well, he certainly won't be the former, and we are hopeful for the latter!  Then we found PB & J Day School in Franklin.  Its a school day format, from 9am-3pm, and while we immediately decided to sign him up for the Fall, we found out that they hold 'summer camp' through the summer.  We can pick and choose what weeks and days he goes, which meets our needs perfectly with our travels to Atlanta, Chicago, the beach, and beyond!  We don't have to pay for the days he is not there, and its almost like a trial-run for the fall when we keep him enrolled (and Ella will enroll when she turns 1!) as I prepare for my busy season with my growing photography business.  He thoroughly enjoyed the couple of hours he got to scope the place out over the weekend, and then started this past Monday.  I snapped these photos of him in honor of his big day!  Of course he showed off his new lunch box, and if you will notice, we have a new addition to the Dudek family...a mini-van!  I can't believe we did it, but we are LOVING the room and the cargo space will come in handy when I am loading up my giant bean bag, blankets, props, ladder and all the other stuff I need for those newborn shoots!  Brody is quite fond of the 'mini-BAN' also, especially the automatic doors and dvd player :).

Look at this beautiful belly!!  Seriously, have you ever seen a more perfect baby bump??

This sweet little family is expecting a baby girl next month!  Wow!  I was honored to photograph this soon-to-be-new-mommy, her hubby and daughter--they also happen to be a few of my most favorite people!  Big sister is very excited, and we even  had the upcoming arrival's cousin join us for the the portrait session.

 

We headed out to a park near their house, and the sun set was perfect for a little sun flare.
